Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling

Everyone Faces Challenges.

Psychotherapy can be an effective method for those with issues such as anxiety, compulsive disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, grief, victimization, crisis intervention, and sexual assault.

Psychotherapy is also great for solving those issues that you just haven't been able to resolve on your own.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, more than a quarter of American adults experience depression, anxiety, or another mental disorder in any given year. Others need help coping with a serious illness, losing weight, or ending undesirable habits. Some struggle with relationships, employment issues, loss of of a loved one, stress, substance abuse, or other issues. These problems can often become debilitating. They do not have to be permanent.

Dr. Allyson works with children 8-12 years old, teens, and adults. Individual sessions lead to understanding concerns, overcoming obstacles, changing unwanted behaviors, and achieving desired results. The combination of neuroscience and complimentary counseling techniques lead to insight, answers, and solutions.

This motivational experience leads to the creation of your life design so that you can live in a way that is satisfying. This safe, supportive, and confidential space allows you to see life clearly. Dr. Maida will help you explore the way your emotions, beliefs, and behaviors work together and give you tools that last a lifetime.
