Maida has always taken special notice of the way people respond and the
result of their actions. This intrigue paved the road to Allyson´s career
in social work and business. With a strong belief that we are our best
resource, Allyson began to combine creative and academic concepts in order
to learn about problem solving and goal attainment. In doing so, she
embarked on long-term study of brain function, the emotional response to
nerve cell plasticity and the role of hemispheric relevance to behavior.

truly satisfied, she changed direction becoming a licensed Social Work
practitioner. Prior to graduating with her Masters Degree from Fordham
University, she developed and established a government department in
Westchester County, New York. This achievement marks the turning point in
Allyson’s career. She became the youngest female known with in the United
States to establish such a department and be appointed to the position of
Executive Director. Allyson Maida is noted for her innovative approach to
problem solving and achievement. She has been honored with a variety of
legislative proclamations, awards and acclamations for her work throughout
the course of her career.
In 1988, Allyson established a private clinical practice in New York.
Later, leaving her government position, Allyson was contacted by various
organizations and systems that sought to improve operations. Her response
was to develop ACM Resources, serving as CEO and lead Consultant in
Business and Organizational Development. Allyson’s career has continued to
grow, marking her as a favorite keynote speaker and presenter for groups
and conferences. With a unique combination of skills, research and
